An accomplished audit and accounting professional with nearly twenty years of senior-level experience in external audit, assurance, and complex accounting advisory. His career spans almost fifteen years within a Big Four audit firm, followed by more than seven years as Managing Partner and owner of an independent audit firm, combining extensive multinational exposure with entrepreneurial leadership and a strong emphasis on governance and professional judgment.
 
He has led large-scale, technically complex audit engagements, including international and group audits as well as cross-border assignments. His experience encompasses the management of highly complex audits, leadership of multidisciplinary audit teams, and the delivery of advanced accounting advisory services related to complex transactions, tailored financial reporting solutions, and non-standard accounting issues.
 
He is a recognized expert in audits of the financial sector, with a particular focus on audits of brokerage firms and investment funds. His experience in this area includes engagements subject to stringent regulatory oversight and complex reporting requirements, requiring a high level of technical expertise, professional judgment, and regulatory awareness.
 
In addition to external audit, he brings substantial internal audit experience gained through involvement in demanding internal audit projects within large infrastructure companies. These engagements focused on governance structures, internal control systems, and financial and operational risk management. He also has extensive experience in auditing EU-funded projects, which require strict adherence to regulatory, compliance, and reporting frameworks.
 
He is actively involved in corporate governance, serving as an independent external expert on audit committees, where he contributes to the monitoring and oversight of financial reporting, internal control systems, risk management processes, auditor performance, and regulatory compliance, thereby supporting the effectiveness and integrity of governance and oversight frameworks.
 
His technical expertise includes IFRS financial reporting, local Accounting Standards, International Standards on Auditing, sustainability and ESG reporting assurance, due diligence engagements, and broader accounting and financial advisory services. He is a certified lecturer in IFRS and International Standards on Auditing and regularly delivers advanced professional training. He holds a university degree in economics, is a certified auditor, and is also certified to perform audits of sustainability and ESG reports.
